| 1) Q: What is your minimum
order? |
| A: For bulky items such as
baskets, reed, bamboo, straw and igusa items, our minimum order
is 1x20' container. Other items including home textiles, festive
decorations, sports and leisure goods etc our minimum order is USD
5000 in FOB value. |
| 2) Q: How long a lead time
do you need for an order? |
| A: Normally 30-60 days after
receiving the irrevocable L/C depending on quantity of the specific
order. Also taken into consideration are two main breaks of about
20 days each throughout a year, the spring festival(Chinese lunar
new year vacation) in Jan/Feb and the summer harvest in June. |
| 3) Q: From which ports you
ship the goods? Do you ship by air in any case? |
A: Most baskets, reed screens
and straw products are shipped from Xingang/Tianjin where we load
the containers in our warehouses after further processing, packing
and inspection. For igusa items,bamboo products, home textiles,
festive decorations, sports and leisure goods we normally ship from
Shanghai or Ningbo, ports that locate close to our manufacture bases.
Most of our deliveries are made by sea. We also air the cargo if
the freight is convenient for customers. |
| 4) Q: What is your payment
term? |
| A: In most occasions we accept
payment by L/C at sight, or by T/T with 50% deposit and second 50%
against faxed copy of original shipping document. For customers
with longstanding business relationship and justified credit, we
use the term D/P at sight at customers' request. |
| 5) Q: What kind of packing
do you provide ? Can you put our logo or displaying label on your
products? |
A: We provide neutral packing
in cartons or bales. There is a change in the packing cost if we
are asked to change our standard packing.
You are welcome to send us your own labels of hangtags to be affixed
on your own purchase. A reasonable charge will occur if you need
us to print any labels or logo for you. |
| 6) Q: Can you manufacture according
to our sample or sketch? |
A: Sure.
An exclusive sales agreement can be made at customer's request. |
| 7) Q: Do you offer samples
? |
| A: Yes, we offer samples to
our customers in most occasions, with cost of samples and postage
to be taken care of by the customer. |
| 8) Q: For products made of
natural plants, do you fumigate before shipment? |
| A: Yes, each lot is fumigated
in the course of production and we can issue a certificate evidencing
this procedure. Should you need an official fumigation certificate
or a phytosanitary certificate issued by a competent authority,
we can act accordingly. The extra charge will be for your account. |
| 9) Q: How do you interpret
dimensions? |
| A:Dimensions of all products
are approximate due to that most of our products are handmade and
small difference is allowed. In most cases our dimensions are measured
by centimeters, otherwise stated, and we convert 2.54 centimeters
into 1 inch. Please let us know your preference of system when inquiring. |
| 10) Q: What is your policy
for claims? |
| A: Claims, if any, concerning
the goods shipped shall be filed within 30 days after arrival at
destination, supported by an inspection report issued by competent
authority. It is understood the sellers shall not be liable for
any discrepancy of the goods shipped due to causes from which the
insurance company, shipping company other transportation organization
or post office are liable. |
